Beautifully situated on the clear and

Lake Couchiching,
just 90 minutes north of Toronto.




Directions to Camp from Toronto

  1. From Highway 401 take Highway 400 north towards Barrie
  2. Follow Highway 11 north towards Orillia
  3. Exit on to Highway 12 south (2nd Orillia exit)
  4. Continue along 12 through 5 sets of lights, over the Narrows bridge to Rama Road.
  5. Turn left (north) on Rama Road and travel for 10km.
  6. Camp Wahanowin is on the left (west side of Rama Road).





Directions to Camp from North

  1. Take Highway 11 South
  2. Exit on to Road 169 South at Washago
  3. Continue through the town of Washago (about 2km)
  4. Turn right (south) on Rama Road and travel for 8km.
  5. Camp Wahanowin is on the right (west side of Rama Road).

  • 227 Eglinton Avenue West
  • Closed in July and August
  • From the 401 exit onto Avenue Road (south). Turn left on Eglinton. 1st set of lights is Oriole Parkway
  • We are on the southeast corner of Eglinton and Oriole Parkway, next to Coffee Time and the Burger Shack.
  • We are on the 2nd floor above Senior Citizens Travel.
  • Parking is available - follow the driveway just east of our building to the lot behind.

Parents traveling to camp for Visitors Day that wish to stay in the Orillia area may select from one of these local hotels. Reservations for weekends should be made well in advance as space fills quickly.
