Nick Armstrong
Nick Armstrong

Position: Head of Ropes

General Information:
Nick was born and raised in Adelaide, Australia where he still lives (most of the time). Canada has become like a second home to him, visiting friends and working at camp for half the year and returning home for the remaining 6 months, always moving with the summer.
And before you ask, Nick has never surfed in his life!

Educational Status
:
After 2 years of full-time tertiary study, Nick graduated from college in 2003 and now works as a qualified Youth Worker back in Australia.

Previous Camp Experience:
This is Nicks third summer at Wahanowin. He first came to work at camp as a BB/Bear counselor in 2005 while trekking around the globe. He went home in 2006 to see family and friends but returned in 2007 as the Head of Ropes, and is back to reclaim the role again in 2008.

Favourite Camp Memory/Why you chose Wahanowin:
Nick has made SO many amazing friendships, not only with Canadians but with people from all over the world thanks to his time spent at camp. It's always great to come back to Wahanowin year after year to reconnect with past friends and to make brand new ones.
