Favourite Camp Memory
/ Why did you choose Wahanowin?:

Miriam first came to Wahanowin when she was 7 years old because her brother and best friend were also going. That summer changed her life. Miriam instantly fell in love with camp and spent the next 10 summers growing up with her cabin mates, who became more like sisters. Miriam is so thankful for the friends and memories that Wahanowin helped create and can't imagine what her life would be like if she never came to camp.

Between all the plays, colour wars, canoe trips and "could-only-happen-at-camp" stories, it's impossible to pick a favourite memory but Miriam likes to think back to the last night of each summer, crying through 20 rolls of toilet paper because nothing hurts more than saying goodbye to your Wahanowin family. Those nights prove how fulfilling each summer is, and it's in that moment when you realize how much you actually love camp. Miriam can't wait to cry at the end of 2008. It's going to be an amazing summer!!
