Melissa Dart

Position: BB/Bear Unit Head

Education Status:
Melissa
has graduated from Seneca College with a diploma in Early Childhood Education. She is currently persuing her dream to travel to Australia and study to become an Australian teacher.

Previous Camp Experience:
Melissa has worked at a number of camps from the time she was fifteen years old, and found the wahanowin family in 2005. Melissa worked very closely with Pete and Tan and was Jack's nanny for two years. Last summer she worked in the Senior Unit as a Senior counsellor and AUH. Melissa is very excited to take all of her great experiences from the Seniors to the amazing BB-Bears.

Favourite Camp Memory
/ Why did you choose Wahanowin?:

Melissa's favourite camp memory was being at camp to watch Jack grow up. When she started, Jack was fifteen months old and was around for the first great milestones. The first words and the first steps were amazing to witness, and she feels so privileged to have been there to encourage his growth and development.
